Answers to frequently asked questions

Q&A

  • What system requirements do I need for SingleFeeder?

You do not need a special IT structure. Small applications already run on notebooks that are commercially available. You can find the exact specifications in our individual offers.

  • Is there a SingleFeeder demo version?

Yes, you have the option to create an individual configuration and test it. The test licence is free of charge. We charge the costs for the installation effort if you continue to use the software for your technical documentation.

  • I would like to create my technical documentation with SingleFeeder, do I need a training?

We offer remote and on-site training. However, these trainings are not necessary to get started working with SingleFeeder. Working with SingleFeeder is very similar to your conventional way of working: you create documents in the editor and save them to your file system. The user interface of SingleFeeder is very intuitive; context menus allow direct access to most functions.

  • How long does it take to introduce SingleFeeder?

Including the installation, you can already work productively with SingleFeeder after just a few hours. SingleFeeder originates from our work as a service provider for technical documentation. We served many customers with different requirements and document formats. This has made SingleFeeder very flexible. You can transfer your existing documents 1:1 into the SingleFeeder database and continue working with them directly.

  • How does the licensing work?

The licence size and costs are based on the size of your entire technical documentation. The main factors are: 1) the number of new pages you create in your documentation per year, 2) the re-use rate, 3) the scope and number of languages into which you translate your documentation. These values are stored in the SingleFeeder database. In this way, SingleFeeder fits your requirements exactly.
